Teresa you are an absolute blessing to have in my life and my continued pole journey. You challenge me and push me to be a better pole dancer, competitor, teacher, and overall performer. You have helped me fine tune technique, given me new tricks to work with, and provided me a supportive environment to flourish. Thank you wholeheartedly for everything. I am excited to see where I continue to grow!

Ya en la primera clase que hice con Polefiction me sorprendió su musicalidad,su técnica precisa y su gran capacidad pedagógica para transmitir el movimiento. Creo que estas cualidades y su creatividad inagotable es lo que la diferencian como bailarina y profesora.

Tiene todo lo que un alumno aspira a encontrar en un maestro: es generosa con la información, gran motivadora, meticulosa con los detalles, exigente pero a la vez amable y cuidadosa en las críticas. Siempre siento que pone un gran empeño en ayudarme a crecer y sacar lo mejor de ti.

Muchas clases después de aquella primera sigo sintiendo su cuidado en hacer de cada día una clase única y valiosa.

I love how you put so much of your heart into each lesson. I know that what you plan is carefully considered so that I would benefit from it in the best way. Music is carefully planned to match the prompt of each song. Although you have many strengths, you realize that the student's experience, is the most important, and you truly cater to that. An example is that I KNOW you are amazing at static pole, but you still me great tricks and freestyles to do on spin. You know my comfort zone while challenging me out of it, but also make sure I can use my strengths.

I also love how you were part of my exploration in my competitions - one of which I won first place. You made sure that I trained, and did my best, but also that there were still elements of freestyle in it. You created combos that worked best for my body, and even supported me when last minute I just wanted to throw it all away and free style it! You are SO PATIENT.

I also cannot forget how you helped me emotionally during the earthquakes in my town. I remember taking classes 5 days a week during that incredibly stressful time because during that time, I didn't have to think about the earthquakes, and I could express my emotions through freestyle.

Teresa is an amazing instructor. I've been doing skype lessons with her for the last year. She has such a unique style. I look forward to my lessons that I have with her every week. She makes a plan for me that is customized to what I want to learn. She is amazing at explaining things and correcting my technique. She has really helped me feel more confident when I dance and she has helped me through two competitions!
